The iconic Midlands Hotel in Gweru, Midlands Province, experienced a partial fire on the evening of June 13, 2025. While the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, we are grateful to report that there were no fatalities, the incident has just left the building damaged and everyone who was in the building managed to evacuate safely.
Firefighters responded promptly to the emergency and worked swiftly to extinguish the flames, ensuring the safety of the surrounding area.
