Residents of the area were left in shock as a group of armed robbers descended upon local shops, instilling fear and panic among those nearby. The robbers targeted the *Green shops*, a well-known location in Mbizo 9 FBC. Witnesses reported to Kwekwe News Bulletin that the assailants, armed with guns, forced shopkeepers to lie on the floor while they demanded cash and valuables. The scene was chaotic, with the shopkeepers crying out in fear, which drew the attention of nearby residents who rushed to the scene to witness the unfolding horror. In total, the robbers successfully raided *three shops*, including a butchery, before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money. Fortunately, *no injuries or fatalities* were reported during the incident, a small relief amidst the chaos. The local police have been informed and are investigating the matter. Notably, the butchery was equipped with clear CCTV cameras; however, the robbers concealed their identities with face masks, complicating identification efforts. After executing their plan, the suspects fled on foot into the surrounding woods, evading capture. The *Mbizo ZRP* (Zimbabwe Republic Police) has been alerted to the incident and is currently working to gather more information and ensure the safety of the community.
