📢 On #worldenvironmentday2025, here's more information about food waste collections coming to Lincolnshire next year!
From March 2026, areas across Lincolnshire will start to receive weekly food waste collections – helping to recycle more and reduce environmental impact.
📢 Details here: https://loom.ly/xsPuCB4
🟢 Caddies, not bins!
• 5L indoor & 23L outdoor
• Lockable lids to keep wildlife out
• Space-saving & stackable
🚛 Collected weekly by dedicated vehicles with the waste being repurposed – not going to landfill!
✔️ What goes in?
• All uneaten food and plate scrapings
• Meat and fish (raw or cooked) including bones
• Dairy products
• Tea bags and coffee grounds
• Rice, pasta and beans
• Bread, pastries, and cakes
• Raw / cooked fruit and vegetables, including peelings
✖️ Not all the above is suitable for your home compost (if you have one) so please also use your caddy!
Not every area will go live in March – more info will be issued closer the time from your local council
📍Come see us at the Lincolnshire Show – 18 and 19 June for a peek at the caddies and to learn more.
