The dispute between the late President's family and the Zambian government seems to be at an impasse. There are reports that the family might have him buried in South Africa. This is dejavu for Zimbabweans. Mugabe died an unhappy man at the hands of the zanupf party and government he led. His colleagues in zanupf ditched him. It is unclear why the Lungu family is at odds with the Hichilema administration. Edgar Lungu supported zanupf, and zanupf supported him in an election that he badly lost to Hichilema. Surely, electoral loss in a democratic election can not be enough reason for acrimony. We hope our Zambian brethren to the North put aside their differences and lay their 6th president to rest amicably. Ubuntu.
