This marked the Fifth Sitting of the Second Session of the Fourth Parliament. 🏛 The sitting was presided over by the Deputy Speakers of Parliament: ‘Hon.’ Magdalene Aduako (Youth MP for Ashanti–Mampong and Second Deputy Speaker) and ‘Hon.’ Constantina Agbenorlawoduga (Youth MP for Okere and Acting First Deputy Speaker). 🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️ Their leadership ensured order and structure throughout the session. ⚖️ Parliamentary business conducted during the sitting included 📌 official communications, 👥 introductions, 📊 presentation of reports and financial accounts on the recent 4th Anniversary Celebration, and 🗳 announcements concerning nominations for the upcoming 5th Parliament. 📅 A special AU Day statement was delivered in commemoration of African unity and development 🌍, followed by an inspiring address from the MP for Ho Central, Hon. Edem Richmond Kofi Kpotosu 🎤.
