The event, themed “Prioritizing women's health for inclusive democracy.”, brought together experts, including Madam Effia Tenge (Director of Public Engagement), Hon. Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah (MP for Salaga South), Hon. Hajia Fatahiya. Abdul Aziz (MP for Salevugu), Dr. Maame Fuwaa, Mr. Archibald Oxfam, women, girls, youth leaders, and health advocates to break the silence around menstruation and promote menstrual dignity. Participants discussed key issues such as access to sanitary products, education on menstrual hygiene, and the impact of stigma on girls’ wellbeing and participation in society.
