*INTERNAL MESSAGE TO ALL MELPWU MEMBERS* Distinguished Colleagues, The leadership of MELPWU stands in full solidarity with our colleagues in the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) as they embark on their rightful industrial action in demand for the implementation of the 2024 Collective Agreement. This is not just about nurses or one union. This is about justice for every health professional who continues to sacrifice daily under unfair and unequal conditions. The grievances of GRNMA mirror our own - delayed recruitments, stalled financial clearance, poor conditions of service, and lack of a dedicated regulatory council, directorate and proper career progression. We urge all members of MELPWU to remain vigilant, united, and fully mobilized. If our collective concerns continue to be ignored, we will not hesitate to take every lawful and strategic step necessary to defend our rights. Healthcare is a team effort and our voices must be heard. Let no one feel alone in this fight. We are in this together, and we will move as one. We cannot be silent. We cannot be ignored. Stand by. Stay strong. Stay ready. In unwavering solidarity, *DR. PROSPER SENYO SOKPE* Deputy General Secretary, MELPWU Wednesday 4th June, 2025
