සමස්ත ලංකා වයස අවුරුදු 18න් පහළ බේස් බෝල් තරඟාවලිය මෙවර වැලිඔය සම්පත්නුවර ජාතික පාසලේ දී මැයි මස 30වනදා සිට ජුනි මස 3 දක්වා පැවත්වුණු අතර එම තරඟාවලියෙහි දක්ශතම පන්දු යවන්නා හා තරගාවලියේ වටිනා ම ක්‍රීඩකයා ලෙස W. G. තරුල් මෙසඳු සුවිශේෂිතා කුසලාන ද දිනාගනිමින් තරගාවලියෙහි සමස්ත අනුශූරතාව දිනා ගැනීමට ආනන්ද විද්‍යාලයීය බේස් බෝල් කණ්ඩායම සමත් විය. ජයග්‍රාහි ආනන්දීයන්ට ප්‍රවෘත්ති විකාශන එකකයේ අපි උණුසුම් සුබ පැතුම් මෙයින් එක් කර සිටිමු The All-Island Under-18 Baseball Championship was held from the 30th of May to the 3rd of July at the Sampathnuwara National School in Welioya. The Ananda College Baseball Team emerged as overall runners-up, with W.G. Tharul Mesandu winning special awards for both the Best Pitcher and the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
