කොළඹ අශෝක විද්‍යාලයේ දී පැවැති බස්නාහිර පළාත් ටයිකොන්ඩෝ තරගාවලියේ දී අප විද්‍යාලයීය ටයිකොන්ඩෝ ක්‍රීඩක සෙතික සෙනෙව්, කවීෂ හෙට්ටිආරච්චි, තුලන ධර්මසේන සහ දේශාන් ජයවික්‍රම වයස අවුරුදු 18න් ඉහල 20න් පහල වයස් කාණ්ඩයේ රන් පදක්කම් හතරක් ද, රිසිදු බංඩාර සහ සකුල් කුමාර වයස අවුරුදු 16න් ඉහල 18න් පහල වයස් කාණ්ඩයේ රිදී පදක්කම් 02ක් ද දිනා ගනිමින් බාලක අංශයෙහි සමස්ත ශූරතාව ආනන්දය සතු කර ගැනීමට සමත් විය. ජයග්‍රාහී ආනන්දීයන්ට විද්‍යාලයීය ප්‍රවෘත්ති විකාශන ඒකකයේ උණුසුම් සුභ පැතුම් මෙයින් එක්කර සිටිමු. Sethika Senew, Kaveesha Hettiarachchi, Thulana Dharmasena, and Deshan Jayawickrama of the Taekwondo Team representing Ananda College secured four gold medals in the Under-20 category at the Western Province Taekwondo Junior Championship, held at Asoka College, Colombo. Additionally, Risidu Bandara and Sakul Kumara clinched two silver medals in the Under-18 category. These remarkable victories led the team to be crowned Junior Champions of the competition. 29වන ආසියානු යොවුන් මේසපන්දු ශූරතාවලිය සඳහා මෙවර ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නියෝජනය කරමින් සහභාගී වීමට අප විද්‍යාලයීය මේසපන්දු ක්‍රීඩක දනුක් ලමාසූරිය සහ අගස්ත්‍ය ආනන්දිත සමත් වී ඇත. මෙවර ආසියානු යොවුන් මේසපන්දු ශූරතාවලිය එළැඹෙන ජූනි මස 26 වනදා සිට ජූලි මස 02 වනදා තෙක් උස්බෙකිස්තානයේ ටශ්කෙන්ට් හිදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතය. එහිදී උපරිම දස්කම් දක්වමින් ශ්‍රී ලංකා නාමය මෙන්ම අනද නාමයත් දසත පතුරවන්නට හැකිවේවායි විද්‍යාලයීය ප්‍රවෘත්ති විකාශන ඒකකය මෙයින් ප්‍රාර්ථනා කර සිටිමු. Danuk Lamasuriya and Agasthya Ananditha of Ananda College have been selected for the Table Tennis Team representing Sri Lanka at the 29th Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships, taking place from the 26th of June to the 2nd of July in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. එළැඹෙන ජූලි මස 10 වන දා සිට 13 වන දක්වා වේල්ස් රාජ්‍යයේ දී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිත පොදු රාජ්‍ය මණ්ඩලීය ජීවිතාරක්ෂක ශූරතාවලිය සඳහා ආනන්ද විද්‍යාලයීය ජීවිතාරක්ෂක කණ්ඩායමේ නිමුතු පෙරේරා සමඟින් මීදුම් මෙන්ඩිස් ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නියෝජනය කිරීමට සුදුසුකම් ලබා ඇත. තවද ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාතික කණ්ඩායමේ නායකත්වය සඳහා නිමුතු පෙරේරා තේරී පත් වී ඇති බව සතුටින් දන්වා සිටිමු. එහි දී මවුබිමට කීර්තියක් අත් කර දෙන්නට ඔවුනට හැකි වේවායි ප්‍රවෘත්ති විකාශන ඒකකයේ අපි මෙයින් ප්‍රාර්ථනා කර සිටිමු. Nimuthu Perera and Meedum Mendis from the Ananda College Lifesaving Team have qualified to represent Sri Lanka at the upcoming Commonwealth Lifesaving Championship, scheduled to be held from the 10th to the 13th of July in Wales, United Kingdom. Additionally, Nimuthu Perera has also been appointed as the Captain of the National Team. කොළඹ රාජකීය විද්‍යාලයීය ආදර්ශ එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංගමය විසින් සංවිධාන කරන ලද 2025 ආදර්ශ එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සමුළුවේ දී අප විද්‍යාලයීය ආදර්ශ එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංගමයේ සාමජිකයින් වන අර්ථ රත්නායක සහ තුතික වීනක පිළිවෙලින් ජාත්‍යන්තර පාපන්දු සංවිධානයෙහි සහ එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ පළමු මහා මණ්ඩලයෙහි හොඳම නියෝජිතයින් ලෙස තේරී පත් විය. එසේම නිලේශ් රණවක ලෝක සෞඛ්‍ය රැස්වීමෙහි හොඳම කාර්‍ය්ය පත්‍රය සඳහා වූ සම්මානය ද දිනා ගැනීමට සමත් විය. ජයග්‍රාහී ආනන්දීයන් හට විද්‍යාලයීය ප්‍රවෘත්ති විකාශන ඒකකයේ උණුසුම් සුභ පැතුම් මෙයින් එක් කර සිටිමු. Delegates from the Ananda College Model United Nations Association participated at the recently concluded Royal College Model United Nations Conference 2025, and managed to secure multiple victories. Artha Ratnayake was named the Best Delegate of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, while Thuthika Veenaka was named the Best Delegate of the United Nations 1st General Assembly. Additionally, Nilesh Ranawake achieved the award for the Best Working Paper in the World Health Assembly. සමස්ත ලංකා වයස අවුරුදු 18න් පහළ බේස් බෝල් තරඟාවලිය මෙවර වැලිඔය සම්පත්නුවර ජාතික පාසලේ දී මැයි මස 30වනදා සිට ජුනි මස 3 දක්වා පැවත්වුණු අතර එම තරඟාවලියෙහි දක්ශතම පන්දු යවන්නා හා තරගාවලියේ වටිනා ම ක්‍රීඩකයා ලෙස W. G. තරුල් මෙසඳු සුවිශේෂිතා කුසලාන ද දිනාගනිමින් තරගාවලියෙහි සමස්ත අනුශූරතාව දිනා ගැනීමට ආනන්ද විද්‍යාලයීය බේස් බෝල් කණ්ඩායම සමත් විය. ජයග්‍රාහි ආනන්දීයන්ට ප්‍රවෘත්ති විකාශන එකකයේ අපි උණුසුම් සුබ පැතුම් මෙයින් එක් කර සිටිමු The All-Island Under-18 Baseball Championship was held from the 30th of May to the 3rd of July at the Sampathnuwara National School in Welioya. The Ananda College Baseball Team emerged as overall runners-up, with W.G. Tharul Mesandu winning special awards for both the Best Pitcher and the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
