කොළඹ අශෝක විද්‍යාලයේ දී පැවැති බස්නාහිර පළාත් ටයිකොන්ඩෝ තරගාවලියේ දී අප විද්‍යාලයීය ටයිකොන්ඩෝ ක්‍රීඩක සෙතික සෙනෙව්, කවීෂ හෙට්ටිආරච්චි, තුලන ධර්මසේන සහ දේශාන් ජයවික්‍රම වයස අවුරුදු 18න් ඉහල 20න් පහල වයස් කාණ්ඩයේ රන් පදක්කම් හතරක් ද, රිසිදු බංඩාර සහ සකුල් කුමාර වයස අවුරුදු 16න් ඉහල 18න් පහල වයස් කාණ්ඩයේ රිදී පදක්කම් 02ක් ද දිනා ගනිමින් බාලක අංශයෙහි සමස්ත ශූරතාව ආනන්දය සතු කර ගැනීමට සමත් විය. ජයග්‍රාහී ආනන්දීයන්ට විද්‍යාලයීය ප්‍රවෘත්ති විකාශන ඒකකයේ උණුසුම් සුභ පැතුම් මෙයින් එක්කර සිටිමු. Sethika Senew, Kaveesha Hettiarachchi, Thulana Dharmasena, and Deshan Jayawickrama of the Taekwondo Team representing Ananda College secured four gold medals in the Under-20 category at the Western Province Taekwondo Junior Championship, held at Asoka College, Colombo. Additionally, Risidu Bandara and Sakul Kumara clinched two silver medals in the Under-18 category. These remarkable victories led the team to be crowned Junior Champions of the competition.
