जून , 05/2025 *गंगा दशहरा* हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, गंगा दशहरा का पर्व हर वर्ष ज्येष्ठ मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की दशमी तिथि को मनाया जाता है।धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, इसी दिन मां गंगा स्वर्ग से धरती पर अवतरित हुई थीं। इस साल गंगा दशहरा का पर्व 5 जून 2025, बुधवार को मनाया जाएगा। पौराणिक मान्यता है कि राजा भगीरथ की तपस्या से प्रसन्न होकर मां गंगा पृथ्वी पर उतरी थीं। लेकिन पृथ्वी उनकी तेज धारा को संभाल नहीं सकती थी, इसलिए भगवान शिव ने उन्हें अपनी जटाओं में समाहित कर धीरे-धीरे पृथ्वी पर प्रवाहित किया।यही कारण है कि गंगा दशहरा के दिन भगवान शिव की भी पूजा की जाती है। पंचांग के अनुसार, गंगा दशहरा की दशमी तिथि की शुरुआत 4 जून को रात 11 बजकर 54 मिनट होगी और इसका समापन 6 जून को अर्धरात्रि 2 बजकर 15 मिनट पर होगा। उदया तिथि को मानते हुए गंगा दशहरा का पर्व 5 जून को मनाया जाएगा। *गंगा दशहरा 2025 स्नान-दान मुहूर्त* - गंगा दशहरा के दिन स्नान-दान के लिए सबसे उत्तम समय ब्रह्म मुहूर्त रहेगा, जो कि 5 जून को सुबह 4 बजकर 7 मिनट तक रहेगा। वहीं गंगा दशहरा पर सिद्धि योग सुबह 9 बजकर 14 मिनट तक रहेगा. यह दोनों मुहूर्त गंगा स्नान और दान-पुण्य के लिए बेहद ही शुभ है। *गंगा दशहरा पूजन विधि* - गंगा दशहरा के दिन भक्त सुबह जल्दी उठकर स्नान करते हैं। यदि गंगा नदी तक न जा सकें, तो स्नान जल में गंगाजल मिलाकर स्नान किया जा सकता है। इसके बाद मां गंगा की प्रतिमा या चित्र की पूजा की जाती है। उन्हें पुष्प, धूप, दीप और नैवेद्य अर्पित कर, "ऊं नमो गंगायै विश्वरूपिण्यै नारायण्यै नमो नमः" मंत्र का जाप किया जाता है. पूजा के अंत में आरती की जाती है और प्रसाद वितरित किया जाता है. कैसे हुआ मां गंगा का धरती पर अवतरण? पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, मां गंगा मूल रूप से भगवान विष्णु के चरणों में विराजमान थीं। जब राजा भगीरथ ने अपने पूर्वजों की मुक्ति के लिए घोर तप किया, तब भगवान शिव ने उनकी प्रार्थना स्वीकार की और गंगा को अपनी जटाओं में समाहित कर पृथ्वी पर प्रवाहित किया। गंगा की प्रचंड धारा को नियंत्रित करने के लिए शिवजी ने अपनी जटाओं को सात धाराओं में विभाजित कर दिया। ये धराएं हैं-नलिनी, हृदिनी, पावनी, सीता, चक्षुष, सिंधु और भागीरथी। इन्हीं में से 'भागीरथी' धारा को ही गंगा कहा गया, जो आज मोक्षदायिनी के रूप में पूजनीय है। कुछ मान्यताओं के अनुसार, मां गंगा को देवी पार्वती की बहन भी माना जाता है और आज भी उनका वास भगवान शिव की जटाओं में बताया गया है। *Ganga Dussehra* According to the Hindu calendar, the festival of Ganga Dussehra is celebrated every year on the Dashami date of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. Both these Muhurtas are very auspicious for Ganga bath and charity. *Ganga Dussehra Puja Vidhi* - On the day of Ganga Dussehra, devotees wake up early in the morning and take a bath. If you cannot go to the Ganga river, then you can take a bath by mixing Ganga water in the bathing water. After this, the idol or picture of Mother Ganga is worshiped. Offering flowers, incense, lamps and naivedya to them, the mantra "Om Namo Gangayai Vishwaroopinyai Narayanyai Namo Namah" is chanted. At the end of the puja, Aarti is performed and Prasad is distributed. How did Mother Ganga descend on earth? According to mythological beliefs, Maa Ganga was originally seated at the feet of Lord Vishnu. When King Bhagirath performed severe penance for the liberation of his ancestors, Lord Shiva accepted his prayers and contained Ganga in his matted locks and made her flow on earth. To control the fierce flow of Ganga, Shiva divided his matted locks into seven streams. These streams are- Nalini, Hridini, Pavani, Sita, Chakshus, Sindhu and Bhagirathi. Out of these, the 'Bhagirathi' stream was called Ganga, which is today revered as Mokshadayini. According to some beliefs, Maa Ganga is also considered to be the sister of Goddess Parvati and even today she is said to reside in the matted locks of Lord Shiva.
