Security Officer Job Responsibilities: - Monitor and patrol mine premises to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety. - Enforce company security procedures and access control measures. - Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities. - Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports. - Liaise with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders when necessary. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. - Supervise and coordinate the activities of junior security personnel. Skills & Abilities: - Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. - Physically fit and able to work in remote and challenging environments. Educational Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 O’ Levels including English. - At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the mining or security industry. - Military, police, or private security background is an added advantage. - Knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, and emergency response procedures.
