Our seniors at our Share a Pot session proved age is just a number! The morning kicked off with heart-pumping aerobics, followed by comforting bowls of nutritious soup lovingly prepared by YCK View RN volunteers — featuring chicken feet, red dates, mushrooms, and tofu. More than 40 seniors gathered not just for better health, but for something just as vital — connection. This monthly initiative, in partnership with Yio Chu Kang Grassroots Organisations, the National Healthcare Group, and our local hawkers, is more than a health programme — it’s a lifeline for isolated seniors to find warmth, purpose, and friendship again.
