Learning Disability Week launched yesterday. Everyone is invited to be a part of the week. It's an annual national initiative and this year's theme is 'Do you see me?' The week aims to raise awareness, challenge stigma and celebrate the talents of people with a learning disability and what they contribute to our lives. It will show how important it is for people with a learning disability to be visible, represented and understood. There is a programme of free events and activities in Sheffield that everyone can attend.
