*Beyond the Obstacle
*39. Continuous Improvement or Delayed Perfection* :
The Japanese word kaizen means good change. The same word is used for continuous improvement.
Nothing can be so perfect that it cannot be improved at all. But for the want of need felt for perfection, we generally do not act on our talents, skills and goals . A new task can always be improved by looking at the feedback and response.
James Clear, Author of "Atomic Habits", says *Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement.* Small changes lead to big results.*If you improve by 1% every day, you will improve by 37% in a year.* Actions and feedback motivate us. Feedback and different perceptions lead us to more useful options. We can become a good athlete, but we have to be out on the field everyday and try to improve our technique and stamina bit by bit everyday. If you want to become a writer, you have to start with some small articles and then add value based on reactions & responses.
*You need aspiration and courage to start.*
