I extend my heartfelt greetings of Eid al-Adha to all of you. May Allah make this Eid a fountain of joy and blessings for us, for the entire Ummah, and for all of humanity. May it mark the beginning of a new and blessed chapter in our lives. Ameen. id al-Adha is not merely a festival or a ritual; it is a profound global training program. It nurtures the noblest values, timeless principles, and sublime emotions of Islam. At the heart of these values lies pure tauheed — unwavering devotion to the One God and complete submission to His will. As the Qur’an declares: “Indeed Ibrahim was a whole community by himself, obedient to Allah, exclusively devoted to Him.…” Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) renounced every falsehood with utmost sincerity and turned solely towards his Creator. The second principle is the unity of humankind. Centuries ago, when the world was divided along narrow identities of tribe and region, Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) proclaimed a universal message that united hearts under the worship of the One God. The annual pilgrimage — Hajj — remains a powerful and living symbol of this universal human brotherhood. The third principle is steadfastness in truth and values. Despite facing intense trials and adversity, Prophet Ibrahim stood firm — unwavering in his beliefs, his mission, and his moral compass. The storms of hardship clashed against him, but they could not move him from the path of truth. The fourth principle is sacrifice for truth. Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) did not only offer himself in sacrifice but raised a family rooted in the same commitment and perseverance. Together, they laid the foundation of a community built on patience, sincerity, and moral strength. Eid al-Adha is a call to re-anchor ourselves in these great values. Today, more than ever, the Muslim Ummah needs the devotion, steadfastness, and spirit of sacrifice that defined the legacy of Ibrahim. The road to dignity and success for this Ummah lies in reviving the same Abrahamic resolve and clarity of purpose. Aaj bhi ho jo Baraheem ka eemaan paida Aag kar sakti hai andaz-e-gulistaan paida [“If only we could revive the faith of Ibrahim today, Even fire could blossom into a garden.”] Let us pray to Allah: May He bless us with the faith of Ibrahim, the steadfastness of Ibrahim, and the sincerity of Ibrahim. May He empower us to fulfil our responsibilities with full devotion and clarity in these challenging times. Ameen. *Eid Mubarak.* *Syed Sadatullah Husaini* Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind
