The Governor of the Bank of Central African States, BEAC, Yvon Sana Bangui, has disclosed that member countries of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community, CEMAC, spend 2,000 billion FCFA annually on petroleum products importation. Sana Bangui disclosed the amount in Yaounde Tuesday. This was during the third edition of Finance Week, organised by tri-weekly French-language newspaper, EcoMatin. The event took place under the theme: “New exchange regulation and economic development in the CEMAC zone”.
