The European Union, EU, has earmarked some 150 billion FCFA to support the government of Cameroon in its drive to accelerate energy transition in the country. The European Union Ambassador and Head of European Union Delegation in Cameroon, His Excellency Jean-Marc Chataigner, made the announcement in Yaounde recently when he launched a campaign to advance Green Energy in Cameroon. The diplomat assured Cameroonians that transition to cleaner and less polluting forms of energy will affect their lives positively, as well as their future.
