On 27 May 2025, the HHS School System marked its 76th Founder's Day at the Grand Palace, celebrating more than seven decades of dedication to quality education. Founded in 1949 by the late Mrs. Maryam Faruqi, HHS has expanded from a single campus to 13 institutions across Karachi, upholding its core values of compassion, integrity and holistic development. The evening featured a heartfelt tribute to the founder and a keynote address by CEO Ms. Ghazala Nizami, who reaffirmed the core belief that “every decision must begin with what is best for the child.” The school’s leadership including Executive Director Mr. Danish Faruqi, COO Ms. Tehmina Khalid, Group Head Ms. Nadia Mehmood Ahmed, Director Programmes Dr. Maliha Ahmed and Head of QEC Ms. Mehwesh Rehman were recognised for their continued commitment and guidance. Awards for Long Years of Service, Academic Distinction and Students’ Choice were presented to honour the dedication and achievements of both staff and students. A special note of appreciation was extended to the Hashmi Group and esteemed alumnus Mr. Amir Hashmi for their generous support of the school’s mission. The evening concluded with captivating performances, an engaging Drum Circle, raffle draws and a celebratory dinner, bringing the HHS community together in a joyous tribute to its rich history and enduring values.
