*WORD FOR THE DAY* TOPIC: *HANG IN THERE, YOUR TURN WILL COME...* There will come moments, quiet, piercing moments, when you look around and wonder if God has forgotten you. You will scroll through your phone and see pictures of smiling faces in designer clothes, in foreign lands, with luxurious cars and beautiful homes. You will hear testimonies of overnight breakthroughs, and you will sit silently, asking yourself, “Why not me? Why am I not blessed? Why am I still broke, despite doing all I can?” You are not lazy. You wake up early, you grind hard, you make sacrifices, and still... it feels like nothing is moving. You’re still behind on bills. Your plans keep falling apart. Doors seem closed, and heavens feel silent. You pray, you wait, you believe, but nothing seems to shift. And in that moment of quiet despair, the enemy whispers, “Maybe God has favourites… and you are not one of them.” But I’m here to tell you, that is a lie. You see, those people you admire, those men and women who now look like they’ve made it, they once stood where you are now. With their hearts heavy. With their faith flickering. With tears on their pillow and hunger in their belly. They once asked the same questions you are asking. They once cried those same tears you have cried in silence. But they did not give up, and neither should you. The truth is, God has not forgotten you. His silence is not absence. His delay is not denial. His ways are not your ways, and His time is never your time. He’s working in the background, molding, refining, preparing you, so that when your time comes, it won’t just be a blessing, it will be a divine eruption of favour. Sometimes, the wait is proof of the weight of what’s coming. Diamonds don’t form overnight. Gold must pass through fire. And olive oil only flows after crushing. So if you feel pressed, delayed, or overlooked, take heart. It means you are in the middle of your process. Let me say this loud and clear: Your turn is coming. When it finally comes, it won’t just be enough, it will be overflowing. It will be undeniable. It will be the kind of breakthrough that makes people ask, “Where have you been all this while?” And you’ll simply smile and say, “I have been in the waiting room of God’s timing.” But when that blessing lands, don’t forget the journey. Don’t forget the pain. Don’t forget those still waiting. Don’t climb the mountain and kick the ladder away. Be the kind of blessed person who becomes a blessing to others. Show someone else the way.
