*SHALOM* *DAY 10 - THANKSGIVING DAY AFTER THE COMPLETED - EUCHARISTIA - CORPUS CHRISTI NOVENA* *SUNDAY - CORPUS CHRISTI - 22/06/2025* *PRAYER INTENTIONS.....* The Eucharist – Our Highest Act of Thanksgiving In thanksgiving for the grace to complete this novena journey. For the intentions we carried throughout the nine days, trusting they have been heard. In thanksgiving for every joy, every blessing, every Breakthrough and even every cross. For the grace to make the Eucharist our daily thanksgiving in every celebration, sorrow, and season. For the repose of the souls of the faithful departed those we love and remember offered through the power of the Holy Mass. *MEDITATION* *“What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.” — (Psalm 116:12–13)* *🎈🌾The Mass - Heaven’s Thank You Note* The word Eucharist means thanksgiving. It is the Church's highest prayer of gratitude, offered not just for one moment, but echoing through all eternity. In the Eucharist, we are invited to join our lives, our joys, sorrows, and milestones, with Christ’s perfect sacrifice. Yet today, many of us have drifted. We celebrate birthdays in clubs, milestones in parties, promotions with feasts but we forget the altar. We pop champagne but leave the chalice untouched. We fill banquet halls but empty the pews. Listen to God's wounded heart through the prophet Hosea, “I gave them silver and gold, but they used it to make idols for Baal” (Hosea 2:8). And again through Jeremiah, when God says with longing, “I thought you would call Me ‘Father,’ and not turn away from following Me.” (Jeremiah 3:19) God blesses us, promotes us, preserves us, and gives us good things but when it’s time to give thanks, we go elsewhere. We dance before the world, but we won’t kneel before the tabernacle. Dear friends, this must change. If this novena has truly touched you, then let your first act of thanksgiving be to attend Mass. Tomorrow is Sunday don’t miss it. Don’t just say thank you, offer it. Carry your promotion, your graduation, your child’s success, your healing and lay it on the altar. It is only at the Eucharist where your thanksgiving becomes part of the eternal offering of Christ. Let us not be among those who forget God at the moment of blessing. Let us return to Him. Let us bring back Christ into our feasts, into our celebrations, into our lives. And let every “thank you” begin at the altar. *In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.* *Act of Contrition* My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.Amen *Come Holy Spirit* Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen. *The Lord's Prayer* Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. *Hail Mary* Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. *🛐 Final Thanksgiving prayer* *_In This Eucharist, Receive My Thanks, O Lord_* Lord Jesus Christ, Eucharistic King and Bread of Eternal Life, with hearts full of awe, love, and reverence, we come before You to offer our Thanksgiving at the conclusion of this sacred novena journey. You called us to walk these ten days with You. You fed our souls with truth, filled our hearts with grace, and deepened our love for the mystery of Your Real Presence. We thank You: 🌿 For the gift of faith in the Eucharist, and for opening our eyes to see You hidden in the species of Bread and Wine. 🌿 For uniting us as one Body, in a world so torn by division and indifference. 🌿 For revealing to us the beauty of Your sacrificial love, and for teaching us to respond with thanksgiving and surrender. 🌿 For helping us to understand that the Eucharist is not a ritual, but a real and personal encounter with You. 🌿 For strengthening our belief in Your Real Presence, that You are with us Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. 🌿 For inviting us to build lives centered around the Eucharist to make You the source and summit of all we are and all we do. 🌿 For drawing us deeper into communion with the Church, that we may love as one family and walk in one Spirit. 🌿 For the comfort and strength You offer to the sick, the suffering, and the dying, especially in the Holy Viaticum. 🌿 For the grace to live out the Eucharist each day, not only receiving You, but becoming like You in the world. 🌿 And today, above all, for teaching us that the Eucharist is the highest thanksgiving we can offer, in celebrations, in sorrow, in life, and even in death. Lord, how can we repay You for all You have done for us? With grateful hearts, we offer You, Our past with its wounds, heal it. Our present with its worries, guide it. Our future with its unknowns, bless it. We pause now to thank You personally for the intentions, blessings, and moments of grace we’ve experienced during this novena... *_(Silent pause for personal thanksgiving)_* May every Eucharist we attend from now on be more than an obligation, let it be our joy, our refuge, our celebration. May we never again take lightly the altar, the Mass, or Your Presence among us. Let every milestone in our lives find its truest celebration at Your table. Let every thanksgiving be first offered at the foot of Your Cross, where love and mercy flow without measure. Through the intercession of Mary, Woman of the Eucharist and Mother of Thanksgiving, we seal this novena with praise and promise, to live Eucharistically, to love sacrificially, and to adore You always. Jesus, in the Most Holy Eucharist, we thank You, we praise You, and we adore You. Amen. *✨ LITANY OF THE EUCHARISTIA NOVENA ✨* Lord, have mercy, Lord, have mercy.
