🏙️ Rajasthan Brothers Accused of ₹2,676 Crore Scam in Fake Dholera Smart City Scheme Subhash and Ranveer Bijarani allegedly lured nearly 70,000 investors nationwide through a massive fake real estate scheme tied to the Dholera Smart City name. The ED has launched a major crackdown, raiding 25 locations across Rajasthan and Gujarat. Two brothers from Sikar, Rajasthan—Subhash and Ranveer Bijarani—have been accused of orchestrating a massive ₹2,676 crore scam through their company Nexa Evergreen, falsely projecting it as part of the ambitious Dholera Smart City project in Gujarat. The duo allegedly promised flats, plots, and eye-popping returns to nearly 70,000 investors across India. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched a money laundering probe into the scheme, conducting raids at 25 locations across Jaipur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and Ahmedabad on Thursday. Investigators say the brothers operated an elaborate multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme, backed by false land ownership claims and glossy promotional materials misusing Dholera’s name. Ranveer first entered Dholera’s real estate market in 2014, later joined by Subhash, a retired Army man, who put in ₹30 lakh from his pension. In 2021, they registered Nexa Evergreen in Ahmedabad, presenting it as an official stakeholder in the smart city project. Investors were promised tiered returns, and those bringing in more people were rewarded with laptops, bikes, cars, and extra payouts. Authorities have frozen assets and are probing potential political and administrative links. Officials urge the public to be wary of real estate schemes that promise unusually high returns, especially those using the Dholera name without government backing.
