This past weekend was full of mental might and strategic moves as our Scrabble team proudly represented NYEWASCO at the Scrabble Kenya Tournament in Murang’a — and what a show they put on! James Wanjohi secured 2nd place overall after a heated two-day battle on the board. Our other champions also gave strong performances; Phyliss Kariuki – Position 6, Newton Muchoki – Position 10 and William Mwanda – Position 16. Meanwhile, back home, NYEWASCO was honoured to host the Thika Draughts Team for a friendly match full of fun, bonding, and sportsmanship.
