These developments are expected to weigh on global economic growth going forward. *_The JCI declined 50/395 points (0.72%) to 6,918.243 while the LQ45 tumbled 8.77 points (1.13%) to 766.04._* Trading activity saw 13.883 billion shares exchanged, with a total transaction value of Rp7.072 trillion, including Rp540 billion from negotiated trades. Market breadth showed 177 gainers, 395 losers, and 224 stocks unchanged. In the currency market, Bank Indonesia’s official JISDOR reference weakened 59 points (0.36%) to 16,378 per U.S. dollar. Meanwhile, the spot rupiah slipped 5 points (0.03%) to 16,395. *Global Markets* Asia-Pacific markets mostly rose as investors assessed China data and monitored escalating tensions between Israel and Iran. Japan's annual inflation rate edged down to 3.5% in May 2025 from 3.6% in the previous two months, marking the lowest level since November. Meanwhile, core inflation rose 3.7% year-on-year in May 2025, accelerating for the third straight month to the highest level since January 2023. *Commodities* Brent crude prices pared gains from the previous session and fell nearly $2 after the White House delayed a decision on U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict, but they were still poised for a third straight week in the black.
