As part of our ongoing Educate a Girl project, a three-day refresher training was conducted for School-Based Management Committees (SBMCs) across selected schools and communities in Yola South, Adamawa State. The training focused on strengthening the capacity of SBMC members to promote gender-responsive education, with a particular emphasis on supporting the girl child. This activity is part of a larger effort supported by Malala Fund, aimed at addressing key obstacles to girls’ education, including affordability, accessibility, and harmful social norms, through sustained community engagement, education financing advocacy, and targeted empowerment initiatives. #educateagirl #girlseducation
