Today, under the leadership of President Pro-Tempore H.E. Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, a moment of silence was observed in the Liberian Parliament in memory of the innocent civilians who lost their lives in the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. While addressing the Liberian Parliament on this occasion, I highlighted India’s long-standing fight against cross-border terrorism and firmly stated that this is not just India’s battle it is a global challenge that requires a united response from the international community. India stands resolutely against this global menace. I expressed the firm belief that the time has come for the world to come together and launch a decisive fight against terrorism on the international stage. आज लायबेरियाच्या संसदेत, President Pro-Tempore H.E. Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली जम्मू-कश्मीरमधील पहलगाम येथे झालेल्या भीषण दहशतवादी हल्ल्यात मृत्युमुखी पडलेल्या निष्पाप नागरिकांच्या स्मृतीप्रित्यर्थ मौन पाळण्यात आलं. यावेळी मी लायबेरियाच्या संसदेला संबोधित करताना भारताने दीर्घकाळापासून दिलेल्या सीमापार दहशतवादविरोधातील संघर्षाविषयी माहिती दिली आणि हा लढा फक्त भारताचाच नाही, तर संपूर्ण जगासाठी एकत्र येण्याची गरज असलेला संघर्ष आहे, हे ठामपणे मांडलं. भारत या जागतिक संकटाविरोधात ठाम उभा आहे. आंतरराष्ट्रीय पातळीवर एकजूट होऊन दहशतवादाविरुद्ध निर्णायक लढा देणं ही काळाची गरज आहे, असा विश्वास यावेळी व्यक्त केला.
