A SPECIAL CALL FROM THE DIASPORA…Today, I received a call that touched my heart deeply. It was from a senior citizen, in her 80s who is a Zimbabwean but resides in the UK. For some reason she has to search high and low to get my number. I will respectfully refer to her as Mama Nobuhle. I’m not sure how she got my number, but from the moment she said “hello,” I felt compelled to stop and listen. Her voice carried wisdom, love, and decades of watching Zimbabwe’s story unfold. “Mntanami,” she said, “I’ve followed your journey from the very beginning. I’ve believed in your leadership from day one.” Mama Nobuhle is based in the UK. She has a heart and kidney condition, and she shared with me how the healthcare system in the UK has been of immense help — how a Patient Care Ambulance comes to pick her up a few times a week for her appointments and treatments, how she receives suitable care and support, all this to give her dignity and respect in her twilight years. But despite this care, her heart longs to return to her country of birth-the motherland Zimbabwe. And this is the story and aspiration of every other Zimbabwean in the diaspora. She said, “The desire is always to return home. But how can I? There are no functioning hospitals, no access to proper medicines, and for someone in my condition, even electricity is crucial — yet it’s not accessible.” And then she said something that truly moved me: “I believe with all my heart that one day I will return to a Zimbabwe where you are leading us into a new dawn — a Zimbabwe where everything will change for the good and for everyone.” She spoke with pain and truth. “Scarf man, KT, WC and all who are pillaging national resources have killed and destroyed our country-Zimbabwe,” she said. “I knew KT as a young man in Gweru. He was under the care of Pastor Bhebhe because he came from a very poor background. And to this day, there’s never been any clarity on how he made his money.” She said what they have done to the country makes her so angry that wishes they could one day be thrown into jail for a long time She pleaded with me — “Please, don’t tell me you’ll leave politics. I know in my heart it is you whom we the people want to lead us. And I know that you will one day lead Zimbabwe.” I was deeply moved. The palpable hope in her voice — you could feel it, touch it. It reminded me that even those in the diaspora, even those who have settled abroad, carry a living hope to return home one day. In fact, Zimbabweans are among the most hopeful diaspora communities globally many still dream of a day they can go back home. It is these types of encounter that really make me so duty bound to make change happen in Zimbabwe. This is the wind beneath my wings. It adds fire in the belly in my fight for a functioning Zimbabwe. Things have to change in our country. There has to be real change. To Mama Nobuhle, and to every Zimbabwean — at home and abroad who solidly believe in a free and better Zimbabwe: I assure you now, as I assured her, I am clear on what must be done. It is not lost on me. What must be done, will be done. And by God’s grace — it shall be done without delay. Keep strong. Happiness is coming back to Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 Fellow Zimbabweans we shall be #HappySoon #HappyAgain #Godisinit

The rough walk to freedom!! #ThrowbackThursday

OUR CONTINENT AFRICA, home to over 1.4 billion people, is richly and abundantly blessed by God. Africa is our home. Africa is our heritage. Africa is our past, present and future. Africa is us. Africa holds 30% of the world’s mineral reserves, 8% of its natural gas, and 12% of global oil. We possess 40% of the world’s gold and up to 90% of its chromium and platinum. The world’s largest reserves of cobalt and diamonds are found here. We hold 65% of the planet’s arable land and 10% of its renewable freshwater. The truth is undeniable: Africa is not poor, it is poorly governed. Africa is not a dark a continent, it is a poorly led continent. On this Africa Day, I speak directly to our young people across the continent. The torch of liberation was once carried by young revolutionaries —Nkrumah, Sankara, Lumumba, Nyerere, Samora, Chitepo and Mandela, among others. They were all youthful. We dare not betray their dreams. It is time for a new African revolution; not of guns, but of thought and ideas. A revolution of rebuilding broken institutions, and restoring dignity. We must be a continent of big ideas not ‘big men’, a continent of strong institutions not ‘strong men’. To every African—from Cape to Cairo, Accra to Nairobi, Lagos to Dar—your continent is calling. Africa needs you. The mandate is compelling. The mission is urgent: reimagine, transform, reform, and rebuild a New Africa. The young must govern. The moment is now. Let’s remake Africa. God bless Africa! Happy Africa day! #AfricaDay #MaibuyeAfrica

NEVER UNDERRATE OTHERS…,’For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.’ Romans 12:3 All the good we are, have and will become is a gift from God. God is the Giver of all good gifts, capacities and graces. Everyone is important and special. None is more or less special. There is none who is a ‘nobody’ in life. God did not create anyone ‘a nobody’. All are created noble, honourable and worthy. God created all and each with a unique blessing and special gift. Life is a division of labour, every one doing that for which they are best purposed and fitted. We are exhorted not to be high-minded beyond that which he ought to be minded, but to be minded unto sober-mindedness. We must resist all kinds of undue self-elevation. We are enjoined not to be drunk with a proud and overweening conceit of own self, own wisdom, own ability and own sagacity. Let us each have a sober and just estimate of self. This sober estimate locates the ‘task and ask’ God gave us in this life. Never overestimate or underestimate yourself. We are not, therefore, to be elated in our view of ourselves; we are not to judge of our own characters by dint of wealth, or talent, or education , but by our attachment to service and sacrifice as given to us by OurLord, Our Creator. Arrogance produces or promotes pride. Valuing others effectually secures one unimpeachable humility. Humility is a gift- a God-given gift. Be humble ! Happy sabbath family ! Forever and always ~nc #Godisinit

DO IT DAILY…And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ and Saviour. Acts 5:42 The world is our field of labour. And whatever is our station or rank in life, we should seek to preach salvation daily- make Jesus Christ known, and to glorify His name. We are all called to Our Lord Jesus Christ’s great invitation and great commission to make disciples out all nations. It matters not the attacks or ridicule, the cost or criticism, stop not and cease not, the teaching and preaching of the true gospel of salvation. The apostles preached and taught the gospel every day, with great constancy and assiduity, both publicly and privately making it their core business to spread the gospel. They were punished for preaching, and commanded strictly not to preach the word: yet they preached with unabated zeal, and indefatigable diligence, omitting no opportunity of doing it daily. They would not alter their subject to please those who opposed them. It ought to be the constant business of believers to preach Christ; Christ, and him crucified; Christ, and him glorified; Christ dying for us; Christ living in us; nothing besides this, or what is reducible to it. To glory in the CROSS, to suffer shame endured for Christ's sake the highest honor, and to be unwearied and undaunted in teaching and preaching Jesus Christ through good report and through evil report, is the true character and work of every bishop of souls. Remember; do it daily. Blessed Sabbath #Godisinit Forever and always ~nc

In Glen View…Always humbled by the incredible warmth, love and support at grassroots and in communities. Paying my respects to the Ndemera family after the loss of Spencer Ndemera, one of the security officers, whom we worked with for a long time. RIP Spencer

A NEW LAW requiring motorists to buy radio licence before renewing their vehicle licences that has been signed into law is too draconian, anti-citizens and outrightly heartless. So a person who owns a car pays Zinara,Zbc,Insurance and toll gate, how are people supposed to survive? When shall all this end? Citizens are being pauperized left ,right and centre, why does the citizenry of this country deserve so uncaring & heartless a leadership? What are people supposed to do with all this cruel taxation? Why must I pay for a service I don't use? Why should I pay for partisan propaganda, where i am attacked in person and demonized from dawn to dusk? Do we have a parliament in Zimbabwe? Which other country does this to her citizens? Is this not naked provocation? Is Zimbabwe not a crime scene?

There must be true and real change in Zimbabwe🇿🇼 Let’s make it happen!

I admire the eagle’s precision!!
