The court's ruling emphasized the need for basic services, including water, electricity, and street infrastructure, as well as development. However, the ANC's stance on development in Protea South remains unclear, with some leaders discouraging it without providing alternative plans. It is the responsibility of the relevant authorities to ensure that these facilities are properly maintained. However, ANC members and seniors seem to be shifting the blame to the community, citing issues such as blockages in Suwer and storm drains, which they attribute to community carelessness. Moreover, ANC members are being employed without transparency, which raises questions about accountability. In contrast, the DA in ward has taken the initiative to ensure that children have access to clean and safe environments for education and recreation. Have you considered exploring the reasons behind Protea South's overpopulation? I have some insight into the possible cause. The ANC in Protea South facilitating land invasion by undocumented immigrants. ANC members advocating for the allocation of land to undocumented individuals in South Africa? What has become of the notion that South Africans own the land, while immigrants can rent or buy? Are they implementing land expropriation without compensation, effectively granting rights to immigrants over South Africans? Although we encourage peaceful dispute resolution within families, it appears inconsistent to prioritize this individual's needs over those of South Africans seeking land to settle.
