*THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE* DATE: MONDAY 19TH MAY 2025 THEME: *OVERCOMING EVIL CONSPIRACIES* MEMORISE Isaiah 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. READ Isaiah 8:9-13 Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *To conspire against those on fire for God is to expire before your time.* MESSAGE We live in a world that is full of hostility towards the righteous, and as such they are always conspiring against the Saints directly or indirectly. Today's memory verse says: "they shall surely gather together," but all who do such without the Lord's approvals will fall for your sake. The Bible says in Psalms 71:10 "For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together," The only crime the Psalmist committed was his stand against unrighteousness. And his enemies took counsel to frustrate his life. The wicked ones of the earth will do nothing but to keep on conspiring against the people of God. The scriptures further confirms this in: Psalms 83:3 "They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones." Ahithophel conspired with Absalom against David the King but God frustrated their counsels. Today, I decree and declare that every evil counsel and conspiracies against your life and destiny be frustrated in Jesus name. In the days of Daniel the prophet, his political colleagues who were envious of his success in politics connived against him and took counsel to impeach him because of his stand for God. It appeared to work smartly because they had the king Darius on their side. Daniel was sent to the Lions' den but God rose for Daniel and thwarted the counsels of his enemies, the result was that, his enemies ended up in their own gins, they perished with their families in the Lions'den. However, beloved you must stand firm in the Lord always to see the end of evil conspiracies in your life. In today's text, the Prophet Isaiah said, the Lord spoke to him with a strong hand not to walk in the ways of the conspirators, not to say confederacy to their confederacy, but to sanctify the Lord in his heart and not to fear their fears. One who stands like this for the Lord will always enjoy God's presence. And it doesn't matter what the enemies conspire against you, you will come out victorious because God is with you. *To conspire against those on fire for God is to expire before your time.* I decree and declare today that all evil conspirators against you be scattered in Jesus name. You will see their end, they will not see your end. ACTION STEPS 1. Review your stand for God in the light of today's devotional guide and be strong for God. 2. Pray that all evil conspirators and their conspiracies against God's people in Nigeria be scattered and put to shame. 3. Pray that God's counsel shall stand concerning Nigeria. PRAYERS Heavenly Father, arise this hour against all the secret and open plots of the wicked in this nation and let your enemies be put to shame in Jesus name. Amen. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *Divine encounters mature men faster than any form of training in life.* MESSAGE We are products of the encounters of our lives. The cumulative impact of the several encounters of our lives define us in so many ways. Some encounters are good whilst some are bad encounters casting negative influence on us and through our lives. As negative encounters produce negative influence and consequently negative destinies in people, so also do positive encounters impact on us positively and as a result lead to positive influence on us in one way or another. However, there are very defining encounters that reveal, introduce and showcases our destinies. In today's text, the Apostle Paul had a notable encounter that transformed His life and defined his destiny as a preacher all the days of his earthly life. He never recovered from that encounter till he left the world. He lived his whole meaningful life from the abundance of that encounter. When we remember him today, we remember only the encounter that transformed him from Saul of Tarsus into Paul the Apostle. Divine encounters are meant to take, mould and define your life and destiny. *Divine encounters mature men faster than any form of training in life.* *Pay attention to the encounters that have the power to take and mould your life because you are going to live the rest of your life from that encounter.* ACTION STEPS 1. Always create time to prayerfully seek God's face for fresh encounters for advancements in your life. 2. Insist on fresh encounters with God through His word and by His Spirit for a new beginning in your life. 3. Keep journals of all your encounters with the LORD. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *Grace is everything you need to fulfil your destiny in God.* MESSAGE The place of grace cannot be over-emphasised in the race of life and destiny. *Grace is needed for everything as far as life on Earth is concerned.* The Bible says in Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. The earth is a place of needs where grace is indispensable and unavoidably needed. It takes grace to locate and secure your place in life. Grace is the maker of men. Grace is the moulder of lives and destinies. Today's text reveals how powerful and wonderful grace can be. It is clear what God can do through His grace at work in a person's life. Saul of Tarsus, a persecutor and a blasphemous person, turned into an apostle of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. And from being the last to becoming a foremost apostle of the New Testament. He was used of God to write more than two-thirds of the New Testament by the grace of God. If grace could do this for Paul the apostle, then grace is much more than enough to make you whatever God wants you to be. Beloved, there is no life too bad or too rotten to be transformed by grace. A prostitute (Rahab) was transformed and grafted into the Holy family tree of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by grace. A total idol worshipper; Ruth the Moabitess found her way into the Holy family lineage of our Lord by the same working of God's grace. Grace is more than enough; grace is too much to leave you the way you are. Just surrender to God and be yielded to the workings of His grace in your life today. This was why the Apostle Paul in today's memory verse said; "But by the grace of God I am what I am..." In the first place, we were saved by grace, kept in the faith by grace. It is interesting to note that grace is a person, and his name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth! The Bible says that *"the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men ..."* Titus 2:11; *Beloved, grace is everything that you need to fulfil your destiny in God.* ACTION STEPS 1. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ today and be saved if you haven't already. 2. Ask God to help you yield to the workings of His grace in your life. 3. Give vent to the grace of God in you by discovering your area of gifts and calling and putting them to work by faith. PRAYERS Dear heavenly Father, thank you for today's devotional guide. *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE* DATE: SUNDAY 18TH MAY 2025 THEME: *SANCTIFY YOUR HEART* MEMORIZE Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. READ Matthew 5:6-9 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *Holiness of life begins with a sanctified heart* MESSAGE Some years ago, a man of God had an encounter with the Lord; the Lord Jesus told him in a vision; "If at all you still want to see me again after your work on earth, make peace with that man that you have been holding grudges against, otherwise, thank you for all your labours in my vineyard." This man of God was well known in his nation as a holiness preacher, served the Lord for many years, did many mighty things for the LORD, authored so many great Christian literatures, some of which I have personally read and still have. However in all of his labours, his heart was not right with God and his neighbour and that was going to make him loose his eternity with God. Beloved, God is interested in what goes on in our hearts. The head may be wrong and God ignores, but when the heart is wrong, everything else goes wrong. This is why God is particular about the state of our hearts before Him. Today's memory verse tells us that *the heart of man is the fountain of his life and existence.* Today's text shows how important the sanctity of the heart is for a believer's spirituality. It simply says; "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" This scripture further sheds more light to Hebrews 12:14; "...without holiness no man shall see the Lord." This means that *holiness of life begins with a sanctified heart.* The need to see God practically working wonders in our lives daily, is enough a reason to seek God's mercy and grace for the sanctification of our hearts before the Lord. Furthermore, the ultimate need to see God at the end of our walk with God here on earth is a more strong reason for a sanctified heart. The heart is made holy by the effort of grace through the Holy Spirit at work in our lives. This is why we need to allow the Holy Spirit indwelling us to work in us daily by opening up our hearts daily to a Regular intake of the purifying Word of God. Psalms 119:11; ACTION STEPS 1. Yield your life and heart to the Lord afresh today. 2. Be determined not to keep anything unclean before your eyes as a matter of lifestyle. 3. *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE* DATE: FRIDAY 16TH MAY 2025 THEME: *ACTIVATE GRACE!!!* MEMORIZE Ephesians 2:8 [8]For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; READ Titus 2:11-13 [11]For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind. [12]It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world, [13]Awaiting and looking for the [fulfillment, the realization of our] blessed hope, even the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One), THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *Where knowledge is found, privileges abound.* MESSAGE Yesterday, we saw the absolute necessity of allowing the grace of God to make us what God intended us to be in life and in destiny. Today's text shows that the grace of God is a person who appeared to save us from sin and all it's consequences. His name is Jesus Christ our Lord. Which is the reason why the apostle Paul argued in Romans 6:1-2 "WHAT SHALL we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God's grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow? [2]Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?" [Amplified Bible] If grace has come to help us "OVERCOME" the sin virus and its syndrome and consequences, then we should not remain in sin thinking that grace should abound. It is the abuse and the dishonour of grace. Secondly, grace came to help us "BECOME" what we were pre-ordained to be by God, which is also why Paul the Apostle proclaimed thus; 1 Corinthians 15:10 "But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me." Therefore, we can conclude that any life that is still wallowing in sin and still struggling with the issue of purpose discovery is the life where God's grace is yet to be activated and engaged. How then do we activate and engage grace? 1. Through knowledge. Grace is divine privilege, and as it is with all "parallel truths" in life; privileges are activated and engaged through knowledge. What you do not know will not show in your life. [2Peter 3:18]. Every dimension of grace missing in a person's life is largely dependent on a missing knowledge or information. Where knowledge is found, privileges abound. Where knowledge grows, privileges also grow. 2. Action. Nothing activates, generates, and engages grace like the acceptance of responsibility. Where responsibility is lacking, liabilities multiply. Grace can be likened to having food in your home and yet dying of hunger because of one's failure to take the necessary steps in getting the food ready for consumption. Someone can send you money, if you don't withdraw it for your usage, it lies dormant in the bank whilst you stay in need. We have been blessed beyond measures by God, we have no reason suffering when all we need to do to activate grace is to accept the responsibility of obeying God's relevant instruction in His word to activate and engage grace for our benefits. 3. We activate, engage and release grace by speaking. Imagine the creative energy in God that brought about the creation of the entire universe was activated and released by the power of God's Word. He spoke and all of creation emerged. Words are activators and catalyst of grace. When we speak, God works, angels are put to work, grace is activated. We are a moving warehouse of divine energy waiting to be activated by the mere opening of our mouths to speak. Unfortunately, we often activate negative energy by speaking negative words. Watch what you say, beloved. What you say is what you get. [Proverbs 18:20-21] This is a new day for you beloved, locate your place in God today by knowledge, activate grace by taking pertinent and relevant steps of obedience to God's word and your life will be flooded with practical wonders of God's grace in Jesus name. *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE* DATE: WEDNESDAY 14TH MAY 2025 THEME: *THE DOCTRINE OF GODLINESS* MEMORIZE 1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. READ 1 Timothy 6:3-11 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *People will become like what they believe with time.* MESSAGE The word doctrine simply means; teaching. It is a body or system of teachings relating to a particular subject; a particular principle, position, or policy taught or advocated. *And godliness simply means; the nature and pattern of life like God and His holy ways.* The mystery of teaching is such that; it first of all gives an idea, then a belief, and subsequently a pattern of life in people when once it's been taught. *Every preacher will always produce what they preach in their congregation.* The mind of men is not an umpire to judge what is being taught often, it simply accepts as a program whatever it's exposed to often and consequently adopts as the pattern of belief and way of life. This is why doctrine can be very spurious and precarious if it's not according to the tenets of the truth from God's holy word. *Every doctrine that is not according to godliness will produce nothing but ungodliness in people.* We must therefore watch what we expose ourselves to, especially our innocent children. The truth about life in general is that *people will become like what they believe with time*. It is easy to diagnose a person's behavior by first knowing what their beliefs are. And we can always tell what a person's beliefs are by what or who they always listen to. We can also tell what people are listening to by their lifestyles. It is important to note that when people listen to sound doctrine of godliness, they will believe it and will become godly as a result. The strange wave of ungodliness in most worship places today, might not be unconnected with the teachings that lack godliness from religious leaders. ACTION STEPS 1. Go back to serious study of the Bible and filter everything you have believed with the Bible. 2. Always put the Bible between you and everyone no matter who they may be. 3. Believe only that which is confirmed by God's Word. PRAYERS Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide; deliver me from every false doctrine and establish me in the doctrine of godliness that makes for godliness in Jesus name. Amen. READ 2 Chronicles 26:1-5 Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah. He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers. Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem. And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did. Oftentimes, when we look, we don't see what we are looking at, we rather see what is in us and we see things from who we are. So our vision is a reflection of our individual perspectives, passions and preferences. *Every vision is rooted in the ideology of its visionary.* So when we talk about understanding the vision of God, we are talking about understanding God's psychology, phylosophy and preferences and passions. It is what God loves and prefers to see that matters to Him and that is what He focusses on. To therefore understand God's ways, we need to know what is on God's mind, what are His preferences, what is His purpose and passion. All of these are the yardsticks for ascertaining, understanding and facilitating the visions of God. It was because, Uzziah served under a man who understood the way God thinks and operates that made him to prosper in seeking the God of Israel. We must pay attention to the mind, will and purposes of God to be able to raise up a generation of God seekers on earth in our time. This entails deep and steady walk with God. (LBV) THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *You cannot control what you have not conquered.* MESSAGE Leadership is one of the most misunderstood subjects amongst people in the world today, because of the perverted and lopsided ideologies of people about leadership. Leaders are people God can trust with the Grace to give direction to people for Him, God is a Spirit and cannot be seen with the human eyes, however, He works through people everywhere; leaders are those who occupy the place of God over people for God. In other words, God borrowed them His position temporarily to see what they will do with it. And when He finds them faithful after some tests, He promotes them. Here are a few things to note if you desire to be influential and powerful with God in leading people for Him. *God doesn't put people in charge of things that they have not conquered.* Rulers are those who have power to rule over themselves first and things that they are to rule over. Whatever you conquer will be brought under you. For instance, if you conquer food, you will be trusted with much provisions for yourself and others, if you conquer the love of money, you will be trusted with real wealth, if you conquer the love of women as a man, you will be trusted by God with women to protect and nurture to greatness. *Whatever you conquer is what you will be given the power to control.* *You cannot control what you have not conquered.* In today's text, it tells us that those who overcome, and keeps the work of the Lord till the end will be given the power over nations and they shall rule them with a rod of iron. It is important to note that the power of rulership comes from the hands of the Lord and He determines who to trust with it. However we can tell what He expects from such people that must be in charge of other people for Him. Do you have a passion for leadership, or have you been trusted with leadership of any kind? Do you want to grow in your influence in life. Then be determined to conquer yourself first, you cannot be living carelessly and be able to lead others. Conquer your appetites, tame your love for money, conquer your desires for food, and pleasures and God will increase your leadership influence. SHALOM, maranatha! ACTION STEPS 1. Thank God for His mercies and faithfulness in your life. 2. Be determined to yield yourself to the leadership of the Holy Spirit much more than ever in your life. 3. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *You can not fail with the hand of God upon your life.* MESSAGE The hand of God represents the Spirit of God. It is the revelation of the power of God. Israel was saved by the hand of God from Egypt. Samson was unusually made powerful whilst the hand of God was upon his life. The hand of God coming upon Elijah made him strong enough to overtake a chariot by the speed of the Lord. Anything in righteousness is possible with the hand of God upon a person's life. *The hand of God is what makes the difference in any man or woman's life.* Today's text shows how Jabez' story was turned around by the hand of God coming upon his life at his request. With the hand of God upon your life, amazing things in righteousness will happen in your life and destiny. God's hand doesn't produce failures, they produce super success in the race of life. So when His hands come upon your life, you become infinitely creative and super productive. *You can not fail with the hand of God upon your life. Everything and everyone that God touches prospers*! Beloved, go for the hand of God in whatever you do, insist on the hand of God upon your life no matter what. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY *Whatever you do, be watchful and prayerful always.* MESSAGE Today's text and memory verse all confirmed that the second coming of the LORD will be a public phenomenon. Today's text compares the second coming of our Lord with the lightning that comes out of the East and shines to the west. This implied that it will not be a hidden thing when it happens. And furthermore, it will be characterized by the withdrawal of luminary bodies, and the consequent invasion of darkness over the earth. This is so obvious in today's world. We are experiencing the withdrawal of heavenly lights. And the obvious effects of darkness coming over the earth, making it extremely necessary for the believers to shine and stand forth as the only spiritual lights left to give luminosity and direction to the world that is covered in darkness. We are gradually coming to terms with the fact that people are grappling with confusion and frustration. Surely, heavenly lights are being withdrawn from the earth even though many people are ignorant about what is going on. Globally, it is an established fact that stars are falling because, the end of all things is here as predicted by God's holy prophets in scriptures. The warning of our Lord Jesus Christ is more glaring and alarming: "watch and pray" The absolute necessity for spiritual sensitivity and alertness is the obvious reason to be watchful and prayerful *Beloved, whatever you do, be watchful and prayerful, so that you can be sensitive and alert for the LORD's return.* ACTION STEPS 1. Prayerfully meditate on today's devotional guide again. 2. Be determined to make heaven and to take as many people as you can with you. 3. Be proactive and intentional in everything you do for God and men knowing that the time is short.
