Smoking experiences* *What* : Kirklees Council is re-designing its Stop Smoking Service, and you can share your ideas through Healthwatch. *Who* : anyone who is over 18 and either: • currently smoking tobacco, or • have stopped smoking tobacco, or • is think thinking about stopping smoking tobacco *Get involved* : The survey will take around 5-7 minutes to complete. *Survey – West Yorkshire: Pelvic Health during Pregnancy* *What and why?* West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board have created a survey to help improve the care that people get for their pelvic health during, and after, pregnancy. Pelvic health problems may include leaking urine (pee) and / or stool (poo), prolapse (bulging or swelling), injuries and infection in the area between the vagina and anus, pain in the pelvic area and / or back, and tummy muscle separation. The results of the survey will be written up in a report and then used both by local services and to help develop the new perinatal pelvic health service that will be beginning in Spring 2025. *Who?* They are seeking feedback from people who: are pregnant or have given birth and people who have had experience of pelvic health issues during, or after, pregnancy. *How to get involved:* Fill in the survey by Sunday 2nd March 2025 and/ or share with anyone who may want to share their experiences and ideas. *Individual feedback – West Yorkshire: How to choose the right health and care service* *What and why?* West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership want to hear your feedback and ideas about how to improve the way they communicate with people about how to choose the right health and care service. People are often asked to choose the right health and care service for their needs. Your feedback will help to make sure people have the information they need to make the right choice for them. For example, all the different ‘walk-in’ services in West Yorkshire, where they are, what services they offer and when they open. People will be asked to look at draft information and give feedback on: Is the information useful? Is it easy to understand? Is there anything missing? *Who?* Anyone can be involved but they would particularly like to hear from people who: have recently attended an A&E department have recently attended an urgent care centre (or other ‘walk-in’ service have recently had a GP out of hours appointment *How to get involved:* You can be involved by sharing your feedback on an individual basis at a time suitable for you. *Individual feedback – West Yorkshire: Getting helpful information about medication* *What and why?* West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership want to hear your feedback and ideas about how to improve the way they communicate with people about medication. They want to support people in West Yorkshire to be able to have the information they need about their medications. This will help with understanding topics like fake medicines, how to take medicine correctly, side effects and possible reactions and any safety risks of certain medications. People will be asked to look at draft information and give feedback on: Is the information useful? Is it easy to understand? Is there anything missing? *Who?* Anyone can be involved but they would particularly like to hear from people who: are currently taking medication for long term conditions or specific illnesses have previously taken medications for long-term conditions, or specific illnesses care for someone who takes medications for long-term conditions, or specific illnesses. *How to get involved:* You can be involved by sharing your feedback on an individual basis at a time suitable for you.
