We know London has a lot to offer every creative and it's not just the iconic tourist attractions that catch the eye. We've asked some of our speakers to share their favourite spots for shots in and around the city, and how they capture the history and energy of England's capital. Industrial expanse, green space, opposing architecture, contrasting communities... come to London to find your own 'best bits' too! First up, @hannahcouzens and Shad Thames, Bermondsey. 📸 Hannah’s take: 💭 “I’ve shot in Shad Thames various times and I particularly love how it seems relatively untouched and still holds the charm from the Victorian era. The area was used as warehouse storage and the riverboats used to unload there. Some of the iron bridges connecting the buildings are still there and I think it makes a fantastic backdrop. I shot this image for Garrison Tailors, a clothing brand designed by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight—the industrial feel was the perfect fit. But beyond photography, I simply love spending time there.” Stay tuned for more!

For the second of our #LovingLondon series 📸, we're exploring Broadway Market in Hackney📍, where pro photographer, Gabrielle Motola, lived way back when it was a hidden gem. Gabrielle’s take: "I'm sharing this portrait of Tikko, who ran the incredible Little Georgia restaurant on the corner of the canal, at one of my most beloved London locations, Broadway Market. This photograph of her was taken just outside my studio in the mews in front of a beautiful door that my neighbour had bolted to the wall. Broadway Market may have changed over the years, but its charm remains, with great restaurants, bars, and the colourful characters that make it so special. Whether you're already a fan of Georgian food or have yet to try it, I highly recommend visiting! 🍽️" Which part of London is next? 🤔 Stay tuned to find out!

Next up in our #LovingLondon series 📸 is the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square📍where photographer Peter Gault loves to shoot. Peter’s take: "My favourite spot to shoot in London is the Prince Charles Cinema. Every time you visit the cinema, they have a different film or quote displayed outside which I love to capture. As I shoot exclusively on film, there is something rather fun in capturing a photo on film of a cinema that loves the medium of film as much as they do! They show a range of 35mm and 70mm film screenings from new releases, anniversary screenings, and movie marathons and I have gone to cinema many times always enjoyed watching a film there." Peter's photography almost takes us a step back in time...

#LovingLondon 📸 London is a city of stories, a place where people from all over the world have come to build their lives. In this shot, photographer Gabrielle Guy shares her image of Patrick Senior from Trinidad & Tobago who left the Caribbean 50 years ago to come to the UK. Gabrielle’s take: "The portrait of the man in the mirror was taken in his barbershop (Unique Hair Technique) that he runs with his son Patrick Junior in New Cross Gate, South East London. Their customers come from all over the world, indicated by the currencies on the wall by the mirror. My father and mother have been Patrick’s customers for years and we are from the same twin island republic - Patrick Sr and Patrick Jr from Trinidad and my parents from Tobago. I love shooting environmental portraits around London because if you know where to look you can tell impactful and layered stories about friends, relatives, and clients.”
