*Tomorrow the Days of Tashreeq begin:* It is *wäjib* for every adult Muslim to recite these Takbirät of Tashriq audibly *once* after every fard saläh from the Fajr of 9th Dhul-Hijjah to the 'Asr of 13th Dhul-Hijjah (i.e. total of 23 saläh). Tris is from Fajr on Thursday (tomorrow), up until Asr salah on Monday 9th June. The Takbirät of Tashriq are to say: اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ، وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلّٰهِ الْحَمْدُ *Other rulings attached to the Takbirät of Tashriq:* The Takbirät of Tashriq should be recited immediately after concluding the fard prayer. Men will recite them audibly and women softly. If a person misses a salah during these days then they should recite the Takbirät of Tashriq that they missed after praying their qadha salah.
Imam Ibn Rajab al Hanbali رحمه الله discusses the virtue of the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah in his “Lata’iful Ma’aarif” and he mentions that “Since deeds performed during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are better and more beloved to Allah than deeds done at any other time of the year, even a normally smaller deed done in these days becomes greater than a normally greater deed done outside of them.” So let’s strive to increase in ibadah during these blessed days ❤️
Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه narrated: The Prophet, ﷺ said, “No good deeds are better than what is done in these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” Some companions of the Prophet ﷺ said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah?” The Prophet ﷺ said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth at risk and he returns with nothing.” (Bukhari 969)
