Few weeks back, we invited SM Lee Hsien Loong to unveil ‘Our Residents’ Hub @ Lentor Estate’, Singapore’s very first collaboration between a Residents’ Network and an Active Ageing Centre. This groundbreaking initiative is designed with one thing in mind: our seniors—empowering them to live healthier, more fulfilling lives right in the heart of Lentor Estate. Nestled in Fudu Walk Park, this Hub will be more than just a facility—it’s a place where seniors can participate in activities that keep both body and spirit engaged. From fitness programs to health talks, hobby groups, and social connections, every part of this space is built to foster a sense of belonging and independence. With smart features like digital access and after-hours flexibility, it’s a true reflection of how we, as a community, adapt to meet the needs of our aging population. But that’s not all. We also celebrated the launch of the Lentor Community Garden, where neighbors will gather to grow, learn, and share resources, contributing to Singapore’s sustainable future. This garden is a testament to our collective desire to nurture not just the earth, but each other. 🍃 The celebration wouldn’t be complete without the Central Singapore Market, showcasing local produce, eco-friendly products, and offering a platform for persons with disabilities to showcase their talents.
