General Michael Kurilla Commander U.S. Central Command praised *Pakistan* as ‘a phenomenal counter-terrorism partner’ in the fight against terrorism. Under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff the U.S. Pakistan counter terrorism partnership has strengthened considerably since 29 Nov 2022 This is not the first time Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has been commended by the U.S. In October 2024 U.S. CENTCOM journal UNIPATH acknowledged the Army Chiefs Professionalism and leadership abilities, highlighting him as a leader who’s primary commitment is the Security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan Article from Oct 2024: US military’s Central Command aka through its quarterly military magazine ‘Unipath’, `unequivocally praised Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir for upholding security through most turbulent times`. The magazine serving as an international forum for military personnel in Middle East and South as well as Central Asia region has ushered unprecedented admiration for the military statesman as a leader whose foremost commitment resides in the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan”. While admiring General Syed Asim Munir for his un parallel leadership in different vistas ranging from counter terrorism through socioeconomic stability to astute military diplomacy, the magazine lauds the daring decisions made by the military General. The journal said that COAS does not mince words in exalting the 4-star General for steering the nation, which has been confronting a plethora of formidable challenges including fifth-generation warfare, through testing times. CENTCOM’s mouthpiece also makes a vivid mention of General Asim’s unequivocal decision to reply to Pakistan’s adversaries in the same tone & tenor while his resolve of uplifting Pakistan’ economy via various novel initiatives including Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI) & forging economic partnerships with foreign partners is also extraordinary. The magazine mentions that in line with General Asim’s vision, Pakistan Army is not only looking after sovereignty & territorial integrity of the country but also for serving the nation in times of test especially during natural calamities It endorses that it is only due to Gen Asim’s approach to military diplomacy which has helped Pakistan in fostering relations with key global partners & playing its part in strengthening regional peace and stability. The article concludes by stating that as Pakistan navigates through complex external & internal challenges, General Asim Munir continues even harder to lead and guide both the Army and the nation toward a brighter future. Such credible journals are neither coerced nor bribed for consuming over 900 words to endorse the great military statesmen General Asim Munir for not only leading his Army but the entire nation through complex geopolitical as well as internal challenges. It is the displayed performance & skilful military diplomacy of the General which has compelled Unipath to publish the real story of Pakistan’s rise in the global arena.. While politicians in any part of the world including US can scribble anything for mustering votes and satisfying their voters and supporters, the Deep States are reckoned for only publishing facts after detailed scrutiny & multiple verifications. Thus, CENTCOM’s Unipath magazine cannot tarnish its reputation by publishing anything which can provide a chance to others for raising eyebrows.
