*BRING BACK OUR STANDARD QUALITY STREETLIGHTS POLES, OSUN PEOPLE TELLS ADELEKE* Although certain individuals, especially supporters of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun dislike vocal opposition but it is vital to confront the flagrant mismanagement of Osun's public funds and assets by their preferred governor. As protectors of the people's interests that we are, we must emphasize government accountability and transparency. This particular one is not driven by partisan politics or biases; rather, it is a call for openness and fairness. Under Senator Adeleke's leadership, Osun government has undertaken the project of replacing conventional electricity-powered streetlights with solar-powered alternatives. This is a prudent decision by the government, and I commend them for it. That is a commendable step towards keeping pace with modernity. Solar powered streetlights are cheaper and affordable. Hence, the general preference for its use nowadays by government, private institutions and discerning individuals. However, the shameful, disheartening and terrible news about the Adeleke’s installed solar streetlights is the poor quality of poles upon which the solar pannel were raised. Few of the galvanized blue colored painted poles were able to withstand the first or second rainstorms of the season and at just two weeks after their installations. They caved in to winds due to their very poor and substandard quality. Also, at its two weeks old many of the solar panels had stopped producing lights thereby raising concerns about their durability and efficiency in spite of the mouth watering cost government is said to have quoted for the project. Unconfirmed figure put the cost of this project at billions of Naira. It is however noteworthy that the metal poles installed streetlghts by the previous military administration, which last governed in 1999, remain standing even after its 26 years, having withstood worst of windstorms even vehicular impacts on occasions or as the case may be. That the government via its contractors had decided to remove these quality poles and replaced them with their own is not a major concern here. After all, it is a matter of preference. But where the removed poles which ran into thousands went and what will become of them is the Osun public concern. Osun, the people won’t forget, has suffered before the disappearance of many of its properties during past administration in the state and which includes pipes worth billions of Naira. But the difference was that it was water and not electricity pipes then. Ironically it was when the late brother of the incident governor, Late Senator Isiaka Adeleke ( May his soul rest in peace) was governor of the state. Perhaps this was why the people are becoming concerned over the government decision to remove and replace a standard quality streetlights poles with substandard ones and without no explanation as to what is their location and intentions for the removed ones. Acording to the people, to buy the quantity and quality of the removed poles today from the market will involve emptying whole of Osun state annual budget. Hence they asked that the government should bring back their standard quality streetlights poles. Akoni Oodua Ayeniromo Kapoo de Tutti 20 May, 2025

STILL ON GBAJABIAMILA’s VISIT: The video showing part of visit the Osun PDP and Adeleke will never like you and i to see.

*Who Cursed the PDP? Who laced the party with this ogidi “epe àdájo”?* “Emi ko lo pa o Ota mi lo pa ara e Nibi togbe nro ejo mi kiri ni emi mimo ti pa” This song translates to…. “I did not cause his death. My enemy's self-destructive tendencies resulted in his tragic end. The Holy Spirit intervened and took his life while he was maligning me.” This song effectively captures the present dilemma of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria, especially in Osun state. The party, which is facing numerous challenges, persistently attributes its problems to external factors, while feigning ignorance of its own complicity in its self-destructive trajectory over the years. The umbrella party consistently resorts to a face-saving victim strategy whenever it encounters adversity. All its misfortunes, regardless of whether they are self-inflicted or caused by its own negligence, are consistently blamed on Tinubu or the All Progressive Party (APC), and sometimes, even on God. The party never assumes responsibility for its actions no matter how stupid. Consider the case of Osun, for example. The governor, without involving his party chieftains, notably the political office holders, including the three senators, undertook a secretive solo negotiation mission with the APC for a second-term ticket. This move ultimately led to a retaliation game, culminating in the senators' formal declaration of their endorsement and support for the President, who is not a member of their party. This scenario bears a striking resemblance to the historical event that gave rise to the slogan 'if you Takar me, I will Dabor you.' Nevertheless, the governor, his party, and supporters began crying foul, pointing accusatory fingers at the President as the cause of the resulting infractions between the governor and the senators. For heaven's sake, what was the President's and his party's role to warrant for any blame in this? It is disappointing that the PDP is quick to blame Tinubu and the APC for their landlord's failure to pay ground rent, which has resulted in an accumulation of N8 billion over several years. Despite the formal repeated demand for payment by government and the subsequent failure to pay, compelling the government sealing the property, the PDP still seeks to shift the blame. Their response to the government's sealing of their National Secretariat at Abuja yesterday is predictable, as they blame Tinubu and Wike for this woes. Suffice to ask the tatared umbrella party for how they would have reacted as individual if their privately rented houses landlord had not paid ground rent for 20 years subsequently leading to government action of sealing the house. Blame the government or their defaulter landlord? Rather than resorting to a non-productive and time-consuming blame game, it would be more advisable for the leaders and elders of the party, which is fast losing its significance, to seek divine intervention and introspect for use as their last straw to cling onto. Today, the blame falls on Tinubu; tomorrow, it will be APC's turn at another time Wike. At some times when it pleases them it is innocent people of Nigeria that they blame. However, they fail to recognize the day they cheated, insulted, assaulted, conspired, disgraced, maimed, killed, maliciously damaged opposing voices property even violated the collective and individual pride of some disgruntled former loyal party members, who later to curse them and left at different times in their worst anger, thereby generating a lengthy list of issues. Otherwise, the advice that they do a reflection on their past , sleep over how they got to this miserable point they are today and they will realize that they under some very strong spell that the Yorubas called “Èpé àdájo. Contributory Curses. Attached to this write up is the picture of their Osun chapter desolate party secretary. Ask them for how the structure became miserable and the banner tattered to this worst level and they will respond saying Tinubu/ APC caused it pretending not to know it was nemesis.

*Governor Adeleke, 3 Senators of PDP Set to dump party for APC?* Recall Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State's denial of reports that he was planning to defect to the APC less than three weeks ago. Adeleke had refuted allegations of discussing a potential defection with APC leaders, stating there was no contemplation of such move. However, in a surprising turn of events, Adeleke recently delivered what appeared to be a farewell address to his supporters, openly canvassing for support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC. On Tuesday, Governor Adeleke received Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President, and took the opportunity to hint at a potential defection to the APC. The governor forthrightly stated that he is working in concert to augment President Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda by vigorously pursuing his 5-point agenda, thereby maintaining the state's sound economic footing. Governor Adeleke urged his party members continued support for the President in his daily endeavors. He reassured the President of his unwavering support, as well as that of his constituents, for the Five Cardinal Agenda, Renewed Hope of the APC. Mr. Adeleke assured the President through his Chief of Staff, Gbajabiamila, that the government and people of Osun State are solidly behind the president, praying that “God will grant him success. The All Progressive Congress (APC) campaign for the 2027 elections in Nigeria centers around “Renewed Hope Agenda” which builds on President Bola Tinubu’s policy framework. Meanwhile, political analysts have examined this development, suggesting that the governor has effectively withdrawn from his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and has pledged his allegiance to the APC, with only his physical presence remaining in his current party. His statement yesterday, which openly endorsed and aligned with the APC, has caused significant apprehension among his party members, who are now speculating about the governor's intentions and the implications for their own political futures. In another dramatic development on the same Tuesday in Abuja, the Federal Capital City, all three senators representing Osun State on the PDP platform at the National Assembly, Senators Lere Oyewunmi, Francis Fadahunsi, Biyi Ajagunnla formally declared their support for President Bola Hammed Tinubu. This development was the final straw that broke the camel's back for the remaining PDP supporters back home. Prior to this time, rumors had circulated that the senators were engaged in discussions about their defection to the APC with the leadership of the ruling party, but they, like the governor, denied these allegations. The truth is now unfolding at the same time some six of the nine House of Representatives members of the same Osun PDP are at the verge of completing their movements out of the party to the APC. *Deportation of Sheik Gumi: Another Reconfirmation of Saudi Arabia as Truly The Holy Land* The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has, with one shot, proven itself as not just the world headquarters of the Muslim religion but also as the true holy land it indeed was. The Saudi government, without batting an eyelid, has not only refused the Nigerian government's over-pampered terrorist disguised as a Muslim sect leader, Sheik Gumi, the opportunity to participate in this year's Hajj operation but also deported him back to his homeland, Nigeria, where perhaps the nonsense and irritant Gumi has constituted himself into can thrive without being checkmated or punished. Saudi Arabia, known for being no-nonsense, has shown the world its stance. Stealing, no matter the gratitude, attracts the punishment of cutting the hands, probably the hand used for that same stealing offense. No negotiation is allowed. Unlike what obtains in Nigeria, where the same hands used to steal may even get adorned in gold bracelets in a ceremony presided over by the government. Saudi Arabia, which will behead a drug trafficker, will never tolerate another unserious government-certified lunatic, a trader in human blood and sorrow, to brazenly step on their soils, worldly acclaimed as holy land, to further insult Allah and confirm the wrong notion that Islam is a religion of violence. Hence, their quick and commendable deportation of the eccentric character called Sheik Gumi back to Nigeria, his country, where all things and everything go. Kudos to the Kingdom. The irritant Gumi, who was always treated with kid gloves here back home by the Nigerian government, was not just deported but also banned from entering Saudi Arabia for life. His offense, according to the Saudi authorities, includes but is not limited to his outspoken views on global politics, particularly his criticism of Saudi authorities regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict and his support for Palestine. Saudi authorities also raised security concerns linked to Gumi's alleged associations with dangerous groups. The same Gumi, back home in Nigeria, is a licensed negotiator between the government and terrorists. He serves as the go-between person between the government and terrorists, doing the price and conditionality negotiation without anybody lifting a finger. Had the Nigerian government not been what they are, Gumi, since his deportation back into the country, would still be cooling his feet in the Department of State Services (DSS) facilities for his being an international disgrace to the country. But what have we; he went back straight to his abode, maybe amid pomp and pageantry. Up till now, no news on the authorities' invitation to him to come and state his side of the story on what transpired between him and the Saudi government to warrant such an international embarrassment for him and Nigeria by extension. Anyways, now that Saudi has helped do what Nigeria's government didn't have the balls to do, and for whatever reasons, which is to look Gumi straight in the eyes and tell him that he is a terrorist and a dangerous element to society, what next? Yes, what next? Will this be the end of the matter? Will the Nigerian government, in case they don't have sufficient reasons to nail him here, not liaise with its Saudi counterparts using all available diplomatic means to get sufficient information about him and his activities in order to put the high-risk security threat character where he rightly belongs, and where does he belong? The gallows, and for the rest of his life, of course. Akoni Oodua Ayeniromo Capone de Tutti 29/05/2025

POLITICS AND INTERESTS Have you seen the video of Atiku having breakfast in Aregbesola's house? While he was in his living room, the drummers were beating "2027, Tinubu o lule ni". Wow! Inside Aregbesola's house!!! If anyone had predicted that a day would come when the sitting room of Aregbesola will be boardroom for plans against Tinubu, I will say no, it's impossible. In the same vein, if anyone had earlier told me that Wike would be Tinubu's man Friday (right-hand man), I will say it can never be possible. My people, here we are today. Everything is happening. It's been long that I came to realise that politics is not worth being obsessed about. Where interests align, archenemies become bosom friends and staunch allies. That's politics for you. Let's just be careful. Copied
