*TOPIC: PROSTATE CANCER* Prostate cancer is a walnut-sized gland at the base of the bladder and encircles the urethra, the tube through which the bladder voids urine. The prostate makes prostatic fluid which nourishes the sperm. Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men. *Poor diet, exposure to environmental toxins and cancer-causing chemicals, and overactivity of the sexual organs* are possible causes. There is a link between a high fat diet and prostate cancer. It is believed, by some, that a *vasectomy* may increase the likelihood that this problem will later develop. Men over 65 have 80% of the cases of prostate cancer; and 80% of 80-yeasr-old men have it. The incidence is higher among married men. The younger a man is, when he is diagnosed with prostate cancer, the worse the outlook. Those with recurring prostate infections are at greater risk. Men whose ancestors had prostate cancer are more likely to develop it. *SYMPTOMS* Possible pain or burning sensation during urination, frequent urination, a decrease in the size and force of urine flow, inability to urinate, blood in the urine, and continuing lower back or pelvic discomfort just above the pubic area. But there may be no symptoms until an advanced stage or until the cancer spreads out beyond the prostate. Many times the above symptoms point to a benign enlargement of the prostate and not cancer in that organ.

*TOPIC: MALARIA ๐ฆ* There are four types of parasites which are introduced into the bloodstream by the anopheles mosquito. If the disease becomes chronic ( recurrent), it results in general debility, anemia, and an enlarged spleen. Severe cases can be very debilitating. An especially deadly form is called blackwater fever. The skin takes on a yellow tint and the urine becomes progressively darker in color ( caused by the excretion of blood in the urine). *SYMPTOMS* Chills occur for several hours, followed by drenching sweats every 1-3 days. *NATURAL REMEDIES* * One way is by taking quinine. This is an extract of the bark of the cinchona tree. Quinine will generally eliminate the malaria, * The other way is to give hot and cold water treatment to the person. * Give goldenseal tea * A cold extract, decoction, powder, or extract of gentian root destroys the protozoa causing malaria. * A decoction of black alder bark decreases the fever * Willow bark is also a good pain reliever and fever fighter * Pineapple peel, ginger, lemon and lemon also help boost immunity to fight malaria * A decoction of Moringa, Neem, and masque tree leaves also fight malaria and typhoid

*TOPIC: TYPHOID FEVER* Typhoid Fever is an acute infectious disease caused by the typhoid bacillus. It is an infectious affliction that is characterized by an enlargement of the spleen and the mesenteric lymph nodes, and catarrhal inflammation of the intestinal mucous membrane. After two or weeks incubation, there is weakness, headache, vague pains, tendency to diarrhea, nosebleed, and pronounced stupor. The stools have a peculiar pea-soup color. At times there is constipation; and usually there is slight congestion of the lung, accompanied by a cough. On the seventh to ninth day, peculiar eruptions of small slightly elevated rose colored spots appear on the chest and abdomen. Frequently there is a complication of intestinal hemorrhoids, peritonitis, pneumonia, nephritis, and perforation of the bowel. Germs are taken into the body through food or drink that has been directly, or indirectly contaminated by bowel or kidney discharges from a typhoid Fever patient. If the body was kept clean and only pure food and water was consumed, there would be no typhoid. **SYMPTOMS:* 1 -4 weeks after the germs enter the body. First a tired feeling and general weakness, then possibly a headache and nosebleed. The fever rises higher each day until, by the end of the first week, it is 104โฐ F. The evening temperature is always higher than in the morning. Appetite is poor, the tongue is coated, and the teeth and lips have a brownish coat. There is either diarrhea or constipation, and stools are offensive. The abdomen is distended.

*TOPIC PEPTIC ULCERS* Gastric ulcers are peptic ulcers occurring in the stomach. Duodenal ulcers are peptic ulcers occurring in the top part of the small intestine. However causes and treatment are essentially the same. These ulcers can be caused by wrong food or too much food. They can also be induced by severe nervous and mental stress. The walls of the stomach pour a powerful acid into the stomach ( hydrochloric acid, or HCI ). This powerful fluid is needed to digest protein. Although the walls of the stomach are protein, they are not normally disturbed by the fluid. But when there are problems with people or with the food then trouble can begin. Two problems bring trouble when stomach acids begin digesting the walls of the stomach, because too much HCI is being produced, or protective mucus, in order to protect the walls, is not being produced. These ulcers can occur in the esophagus, but generally occur in the stomach or small intestine. Gastric ulcers ( peptic ulcers in the stomach) occur 2 1/2 times more often in men than in women, most frequently in the 40-55 age group. Duodenal ulcers ( peptic ulcers in the small intestine) occur in the first 11 inches of the small intestine and are caused by excess HCI from the stomach. **Many factors affect stomach acid secretion which are:* Stress, and anxiety increase it. Aspirin, steroids, anti inflammatory drugs, and smoking all increase HCI production. Here is how to find out: when you have the pain, swallow 1Tbsp of apple cider or lemon juice, if the pain disappears, you do not have enough HCI: if it makes it worse you have an excessively acid stomach.

*TOPIC: FEVER* Fever is not a disease; but it is a condition in the body, wherein the balance of circulation has become disturbed. This is nature's way of trying to burn out the toxic poisons. When the body becomes exposed to excessive chilling or dampness, the capillaries near the surface contract and the pores close by becoming obstructed with body waste matter. This results in a containment of body heat and a sudden rise of body temperature. In fever , the natural body function is to increase the heat to a point wherein the thick glutinous and fibrinous matters loading and congesting the system are made liquid enough to pass through the fine and delicate excretory membranes and tubules. *SYMPTOMS* A fever is an elevation of body temperature above normal. A fever is not a disease, but a sign that an infection or disease is present. Fevers are common in a wide variety of diseases, from mild to severe. Symptoms include headache, flushed face, body aches, nausea, little or no appetite, and sometimes diarrhea or vomiting. Skin may be warm, with some perspiration, or hot and dry. The elevated temperature is an effort by the body to burn out infection, and the perspiration helps eliminate toxins.

It dilutes the stomach acids and flushes them out. * Potatoes are very helpful * Vitamin U in cabbage will also help * Eat plenty of vegetables * Eat bananas it helps heal the wound. There are often gas bubbles on top of the food in the stomach, so lying on your left side allows for the gas bubbles to be more easily released by belching. That can minimize bloating and discomfort.
